Pricing Methods

Each rule uses a pricing method to determine how the price is adjusted. The available methods depend on the rule type.

Product Pricing Methods​

Percentage Discount​

Reduces the price by a percentage of the original.

Original: $100, Discount: 20% → Final: $80

Fixed Amount Discount​

Subtracts a fixed amount from the unit price.

Original: $100, Discount: $15 → Final: $85

Per Item Discount​

Applies a percentage or fixed-amount discount per individual unit. Each item in the cart gets the same per-unit reduction regardless of quantity.

Fixed Price​

Sets the unit price to a specific amount, regardless of the original.

Original: $50, Fixed Price: $29.99 → Final: $29.99

Bulk Pricing​

When a quantity threshold is met, all items receive the same discounted price. The highest tier's discount applies to the entire purchase.

Tier 1 (1-4): $100 each → Tier 2 (5+): all at $80 each

Tiered Pricing​

Each quantity range is priced separately. As customers buy more, each subsequent tier enjoys a greater discount while earlier tiers keep their price.

Tier 1 (1-4): $100 each → Tier 2 (5-9): $80 each (tiers priced independently)

Group Pricing​

Combines quantities across multiple products or categories. Triggers discounts when the combined total hits a threshold. Supports once or repeat application.

Products A, B, C combined: 10 units total → group discount applies

BOGO (Buy X Get Y)​

Buy X quantity, get Y quantity free or discounted. See the BOGO page for details.

Cart Discount Methods​

Percentage Discount​

Discounts the cart total by a percentage.

Fixed Amount Discount​

Subtracts a fixed amount from the cart total.

Checkout Fee Methods​

Fixed Fee​

Adds a flat fee at checkout. The fee amount is set directly.

Percentage Fee​

Adds a fee calculated as a percentage of the cart total.

Volume Pricing (Quantity Ranges)​

Bulk Pricing, Tiered Pricing, and Group Pricing are configured via quantity ranges within a rule. Each range defines a from / to quantity interval with its own pricing method and value.
