Customer Segments
PredictCart automatically segments customers based on their purchase history, enabling targeted pricing strategies.
Segment Definitions
| Segment | Criteria | Threshold |

| Guest | Not logged in | N/A |
| New | Logged in, zero previous orders | N/A |
| Returning | At least one previous order | N/A |
| Low Value | Total spent below medium threshold | Configurable |
| Medium Value | Total spent between medium and high thresholds | Configurable |
| High Value | Total spent above high threshold | Configurable |
Configuring Thresholds
Navigate to WooCommerce → PredictCart → Settings to set:
- Medium Value Threshold (default: $100)
- High Value Threshold (default: $500)
The high value threshold is automatically clamped to be at least the medium value threshold.
Segment-Based Rules
Create rules targeting specific segments with the Customer Segment condition:
- "20% off for high value customers"
- "Free shipping for returning customers" (via automations)
- "Welcome 10% discount for new customers"
Analytics
The Analytics page shows the distribution of discounts across customer segments in the Customer Segments tab, with counts for high, medium, and low value segments.
